Tagore International School organized- Annual Sports Day for Montessori students on 22nd February 2020. The little kids enthusiastically participated in various sports events like hurdles race, three-legged race, 50M race etc and enjoyed to their heart's content. Principal Kamal Rathore gave away the prizes to the winners as well as to other participants.
Tagore International School from 20th and 24th Nov. 2019 participated at the Under-19 boxing championship at SD School, Mahendragarh Haryana where Shaurya Gupta bagged the Silver Medal and Jinendra Jain bagged the Bronze. It was a close completition between the players. We express our heartiest congratulations to our champions.
Sourya Gupta of Tagore International School won Gold and Jinendra Jain won Silver Medal at under 19 Boys Boxing Championship at the CBSE tournament.
At the CBSE volleyball cluster matches Boys won in under 17 and Girls won in team 19 category.
TIS students exhibit their best aquatic skills in Bhopal at the West Zone Swimming competition held from 1st to 5th October. Ashok Bariwa got 1 Gold and 1 Silver. Abhay Singh got 1 Gold and 1 Silver. Samarth Bhargava got 1 Gold and 1 Silver. Kinshuk Banerjee got 1 Gold and 1 Silver. Himanshu Ghatala got 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. Lavishka Marothia got 1 Bronze. An excellent show put up by our students.
At the SGFI (Sports Games Federation of India) championship for Tennis, TIS Tennis Players too proved there that they are among the best by winning the championship in under 19 category. We are very proud of all our students as each one of them excel in some or the other discipine. During the Assembly the performers were applauded for exhibiting their excellence.
At the SGFI (Sports Games Federation of India) championship for Swimming, TIS swimmers were indeed good as Himanshu Ghathala got 2 Gold in 50 and 100 mt. back stroke and 1 silver in 200m back stroke. Diwali Sharma got 1 Gold in 50m breast stroke, Arnav Rajput got 1 silver in 50m free style and Vishnu Singh got 1 Silver in 200m. TIS is indeed a school where our students prove that they are the best.
At the SGFI (Sports Games Federation of India) championship for volleyball held on 4th September. TIS Girls' and Boys' teams exhibited a spendid performance where they defeated rest of the participating teams and became the District level champions in the under 17 Boys' and under 19 Girls' category. During the morning assembly the achievement of both the teams was applauded by the whole school. It was indeed a moment of pride for every Tagorian.
At DPS Volley Championship, TIS Girls' and Boys' teams played extremely well and were declared the winners. They played a power game in the finals. Their well coordinated passes, services, volleys and smashes made all the difference and TIS was declared the Champions of the sport.
TIS Jaipur Boys' team participated at the St. Xaviers School Volleyball Championship where numerous schools from Jaipur took part. It was a tough competition and with the skill and excellence in the sport TIS Boys' team lifted the Trophy and were declared the winners. The Principal of TIS congratulated the entire team during the Assembly for their wonderful show. It was indeed a very happy moment for all students to get a glimpse of the huge Trophy.
The finest part of our students is that they learn every topic, skill and game thoroughly. This got reflected in the Upendra Singh Volleyball Championship which was hosted at TIS volleyball courts for past 5 days. Both Boys' and Girls' teams of TIS proved to be the winners in the finals played on 17th August. Total there were 41 Boys' teams and 24 Girls' teams from various schools of Jaipur and surroundings. The timeouts, and breaks due to rain and drizzle did not dampen their spirit to perform. Our students put up a wonderful show with fantastic services, fine passes, powerful smashes and volleys which was indeed spectacular. Audience and supporters cheered their teams.
On 7th August 2019. Tagore International School hosted the Shri. Deepak Rathore Inter-school swimming championship. 23 Schools participated. The running trophy for Boys was won by TIS Jaipur with 74 points. The trophy for girls was won by MGD School. All the participants exhibited an excellent show.
